Ledaezia Grayson 6-2023 NSHSS, Industry Network

Hello, my name is Ledaezia Elayne Parham Grayson, 17 yrs old and a senior in high school, preparing to graduate, follow my passions and am applying to various colleges including many Performing Arts universities. As a National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) member, I have the opportunity to attend an all-inclusive CA College Tour package in June 2023, including visits to UCLA, UCSD, Stanford and UC Berkley, among a total of ten schools to visit.

I began taking acting courses last year which included various auditions and have earned an invitation to attend The Industry Network (IN), Summer 2023 Performers Convention in Los Angeles, CA in June 2023! This is an amazing opportunity that will allow me to obtain industry-specific training as I begin my intended collegiate performing arts education in the Fall. IN will provide me with an additional 5-week intensive training course by notable coaches within the performing arts industry in preparation for the convention, which will provide me with amazing opportunities, workshops and exposure during the week-long event, which includes interacting with top agents, casting directors, and personal managers. IN will allow me to continue learning, exploring, and expanding my performing arts journey and give me the ability to become acquainted and network with agencies around the country. Hopefully, allowing me to become what I have always wanted to be since I was very young... an actress.

Growing up I have been involved in many programs, events, and sports including basketball, track & field, and lettered in both varsity volleyball and the John R. Rogers Dance Team, of which I became co-captain. As a long-standing member of the Boys & Girls Club of Spokane, involved in both Keystone & Leadership Programs, and I shared my love of dance as a choreographer/coach with younger members, which was an amazing experience. I am a member of SWAG, BSU, GearUp, DECA, NSHSS, and currently am a Running Start student at Spokane Falls Community College.

All experiences have led me up to this point; graduating and embarking on this journey with God by my side, I humbly ask you to help me with any support so I can continue developing a strong foundation as I prepare to obtain a performing arts degree and venture into the entertainment and performing arts industries. I'm excited to begin making something out of my life. This is who I want to be, who I am, and who I will be.
