Lebensrettende OP für meinen Herzenshund

Hallo liebe Fellfreunde, Pfotenliebhaber und alle Menschen die mir helfen wollen. Mein Name ist Simba, ich bin ein zweieinhalbjähriger lebensfroher Labrador. Ich wohne mit meinem Frauchen im schönen Hattersheim am Main.
Ich werde seit einem Jahr zum Rettungshund ( Flächensuche) ausgebildet, das macht mir viele Freude, denn ich arbeite gerne mit meinem Frauchen zusammen und freue mich riesig wenn ich wieder eine vermisste Person gefunden habe. Leider kann ich derzeit meine lebhafte Art und Temperament um mein Frauchen auf Trab zu halten nicht zeigen, da ich nur eine geringe Lebensqualität habe.
Ich leide unter einem idiopathischen Chylothorax. Noch nie gehört? Wir auch vorher nicht. Man weiß auch oft nicht wie es passiert. Mein Brustkorb füllt sich immer wieder mit Flüssigkeit ( Chyle) sodass ich schlecht atmen kann. Ich hatte bereits eine Operation, bei der eine Ligatur des Ductus Thoracicus gemacht wurde, oder mit anderen Worten ein Lymphsystem wurde zu gemacht damit die Chyle abtransportiert wird und nicht mehr in meinen Brustkorb läuft. Leider war die Operation nicht ausreichend und Frauchen ist ganz traurig. Denn seitdem muss ich öfter in die Tierklinik, und mir wird dort Flüssigkeit ( Chyle) aus der Brust gezogen damit ich wieder besser atmen kann. Die Ärtze und Mitarbeiter dort mögen mich alle sehr, denn ich habe nicht nur sehr viel Charme sondern ich weiß das mir dort geholfen wird und bin
sehr geduldig bei Röntgen, Ultraschall und Punktion des Brustkorbs und liege ganz artig da, bis sie fertig sind und ich wieder zu Frauchen darf. Weil die Flüssigkeit nicht an meinem Herzen vorbeikommen kann, um normal abzufließen, muss man mir den Herzbeutel entfernen eine sogenannte Perikardektomie, denn die Flüssigkeit (Chyle) macht den Herzbeutel ganz hart sodass mein Herz nicht richtig arbeiten kann, die OP soll mir helfen das ich wieder ein normales und langes erfülltes Leben genießen kann. Diese OP ist leider sehr teuer, Frauchen hat zwar eine Versicherung für mich aber die vielen Kosten und die erste OP haben ihre Ersparnisse aufgebraucht und die Grenzen der Versicherung erreicht ( bisher ca 9.000€ für OP, Physio, Nachuntersuchungen, Behandlung,
Medikamente und Punktion, ect. ) . Die 2. OP die mir ein langes Leben verschaffen würde, kostet ca. 9.000 € , die mein Frauchen nicht hat und so hoffen wir das ihr uns unterstützt. Wir freuen uns über jeden noch so kleinen Betrag oder das Teilen unseres Anliegens damit es andere Menschen, die helfen wollen, erreichen kann. Ich möchte nämlich meine Ausbildung zum Rettungshund bald wieder fortsetzen und vielen Menschen zukünftig helfen können.
Frauchen sagt ich bin ihr Herzens,- und Seelenhund und weil ich so ein Kämpfer bin und mit meinen jungen 2.-einhalb Jahren es verdiene, dass sie um mich kämpft und jeder weitere Eingriff lohnt damit ich ein langes und schönes Leben haben kann. Das hat sie mir versprochen.

Stationärer Klinikaufenthalt ca 1500 €
Erforderliche Untersuchungen/ Medikamente während Klinikaufenthalt ( Röntgen, Ultraschall Thoraxdrainage absaugen, Dauertropfinfusion, etc.)

Die genauen Kosten können selbstverständlich nicht genau im Vorfeld ermittelt werden.
Leider ist es nicht möglich eine Spende direkt an die Klinik zu senden da sie ihre Rechnungsbearbeitung extern erledigen lässt.
Wir haben uns überlegt sollten wir von
der Spenden Summe etwas übrig haben möchten wir das anderen in Not geratenen Fellnasen spenden. Wenn es so weit ist lassen wir es euch wissen.

Life-saving Surgery for beloved dog!
Hello dearest Pet-loving friends and everyone willing to help me,
My name is Simba, I am a 2.5-year old Labrador Retriever full of life and joy. I live in the beautiful city of Hattersheim, Hessen, Germany, together with my lady-owner, Nicole. For one year now I have been trained to become a Search & Rescue Dog (area search); which I enjoy a lot, because I love to work together with Nicole and am overwhelmed with joy whenever I find a missing person. Unfortunately, I am not able to show my vivid spirit since I have a very limited quality of life at the moment.
I suffer from idiopathic Chylothorax.

Same here, before reality hit hard on us. Often, one does not know how and why this sickness occurs. My chest keeps on filling up with liquid (Chyle) so that breathing becomes more and more difficult. I already had one surgery, where they did a ligature of the Ductus Thoracicus (the flow of the thorax) or, in other words, they created a lymph system to transport the liquid (Chyle) away and so that it no longer runs into my chest. Unfortunately this surgery was not enough and my Nicole is terribly sad. Since then I have to go to the vet clinic often, so that they can extract the liquid (Chyle) from my chest and improve my ability to breathe. The doctors and employees of the clinic like my very much. Not only because I am quite charming, but because I know, that they help me to improve my ability to breathe. I am very patient when being x-rayed, having an ultrasound or punctured and lie calmly until they are done and am able to return to my Nicole.
There is a possibility to help me for good though: Since the liquid is not able to pass my heart and discharge regularly, it is necessary to remove my heart sac (pericardium) because the liquid (Chyle) makes my heart sac very stiff, so that my heart is no longer able to work properly. This planned surgery is supposed to help me enjoy a regular and long life again. Unfortunately, this surgery is very expensive. Nicole does have a vet insurance for me, but the insurance only covers part of the costs for the surgery and the first surgery was already very expensive. It ate up all of Nicole’s savings and the limit of the vet insurance was excelled (until now approx. 9.000€ for surgery, physical therapy, follow-up exams, exams, medication, punctures etc.). The second surgery, which would grant me a long life will cost approx. an additional 9.000€. Nicole does not have this amount.
We are hoping that you can and will help us in donating for me and my necessary surgery!

I want to continue my training to become a Search- und Rescue dog to be able to help many other people soon.
Nicole says I am her soul-mate and part of her heart because I am a fighter and I earn to be fought for, only being 2.5 years old. Every additional procedure is worth it so that I can have a long and good life. She promised me!

Unfortunately it is not possible to donate directly to the vet-clinic, since they ordered an external accounting company.
In case we have left-over money after my necessary procedures, we will donate it to other pets in need. We will let you know if this is the case.
