Siamese twin girl from Sri Lanka needs our help!
This Siamese twin girl from Sri Lanka urgently needs to be operated on.
The twins were born into a poor and needy Sri Lankan family. As they shared vitally important organs, they had to be separated right after delivery.
Unfortunately, one of the two girls did not survive the surgery.
Today Thiwanki, the baby who survived, is 4 years old and urgently needs a life-saving surgical operation.
Dr. Martin Motzo a medical doctor from Munich learnt about the girl’s fate through the nonprofit association “Hilfsprojekt Sri Lanka” and immediately decided to help and conduct the surgery for free.
However, apart from the operation there are other expenses in the pipeline that need to be covered: Flights, accommodation, daily care and post-operative treatment during the stay in Europe – all this needs to be taken care of and financed.

Das siamesische Zwillingsmädchen aus Sri Lanka muss dringend operiert werden.
Die siamesischen Zwillinge wurden in eine völlig mittellose Familie in
Sri Lanka geboren. Da sie sich lebenswichtige Organe teilten, mussten sie sofort nach der Geburt getrennt werden.
Eines der Mädchen hat diese Operation jedoch leider nicht überlebt.
Thiwanki ist nun 4 Jahre alt und braucht dringend eine Operation.
Dr. Martin Motzo wurde durch den Verein Hilfsprojekt Sri Lanka auf
das Mädchen aufmerksam - und hat sofort beschlossen, zu helfen.
Es bedarf aber leider mehr als eine Operation.
Die Flüge, die Versorgung Vorort und die Nachsorge müssen finanziell
sichergestellt sein.
