Lebanon Ramadan Suhoor Campaign
The Holy Month of Ramadan is approaching, and for Muslims, this is a blessed month of fasting, worship, and charitable giving.
Roughly 78% of the Lebanese families live below the poverty line, with 36% of the population living in extreme poverty. The Lebanese pound has lost 90% of its value against the dollar amid Lebanon's economic failure. Ramadan is soon approaching and the poverty stricken families are in need of basic food supplies for Suhoor meals.
In light of this occasion, The Good Fund will launch our second annual LEAF Suhoor Campaign.
In 2021 we were able to host Iftar dinners for about 100 orphans, prepared 928 Suhour bags for needy families and passed out 700 Maamoul boxes on Eid.

An essential package for the cost of $15, will be provided to the families. The campaign will cover the following areas: Beirut, Tripoli, Nabatiyeh, Bint Jbeil, Saida, Soor, Baalbek/Hermel, West Bekaa and surrounding areas.
Each package will include:
30 count eggs
2 loaves of bread
1 kg of zaatar
1 kg of labne
½ kg of dates
5 kg of assorted cheese
4 packets of powdered juice
“And whatever you give, Allah will replace it; and He is the best of the providers”
(34:39)
Please note: Money received after the beginning of the month of Ramadan will be used on Suhoor packages as well as other needs like helping the poor, orphans, and other needs as the team sees appropriate. In line with our 0% admin policy, none of the money donated by donors is used for administrative purposes. 100% of your donations go to help those in need. A final report of the entire campaign will be published in the updates of this campaign and on the social media accounts of The Good Fund.

More about The Good Fund:
With all the challenges we face today, doing good shouldn't have to be one of them. This is where The Good Fund comes in.
In March of 2018, a group of people came together to build a revolutionary way of giving. Focused on small contributions, in only 3 years, The Good Fund has worked to grant over $200,000 to help those in need, through out local efforts and in areas around the world where our campaigns are active. Our focus is on 3 simple, yet powerful ways of helping:
1. Financial assistance to those in need.
2. Short term interest-free loans.
3. Support to projects and initiatives.
We run The Good Fund using %100 of the money given to us. No employees. No overhead costs. Every penny given to us is used to do good. That is because our administrative costs are sponsored by generous donors so we can maximize all the money donated.
Pledge today as a monthly contributor on Zelle/Quickpay using the recurring payment method on the link in our instagram page.
May Allah bless the hands and hearts of those who help those most in need.
The Good Fund is registered as a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization under The Ascension Foundation and all donations given are tax-deductible.
May Allah (swt) reward you for your generosity.
