In 2024, I made a life‑changing decision. I left Canada and returned to the Middle East to take on a senior leadership role with a major consulting firm, managing teams across the region. I expected challenges, but nothing could have prepared me for what came next.
A war erupted; sudden, devastating, and relentless. Entire towns were emptied overnight. Nearly a quarter of the nation was displaced. Families fled with nothing but the clothes on their backs. I witnessed scenes I would not wish on anyone: families sleeping in public parks, elderly people with nowhere to go, and communities shattered in moments.
One night, after a strike intended for a single individual destroyed an entire residential building, I went from one emergency hospital to another trying to donate blood. More than 80 civilians lost their lives in that single incident. I saw parents running between hospitals, hoping, praying, that their children had been brought in alive. These moments stay with me forever.
Today, the suffering continues. The war erupted again. Homes, Livelihoods, and stability; all gone !

Why I’m Asking for Your Help: Lebanon is effectively insolvent after its central bank defaulted on payments to the International Monetary Fund; public services, including healthcare, have collapsed for many, and a large portion of the displaced population now lives below the poverty line.

Donations will be sent directly to trusted local non‑governmental organizations that i personally know and that are operating on the ground in Lebanon. These partners run community kitchens, organize food distributions, and deliver essential supplies to displaced families in shelters. I work only with organizations I have vetted for integrity, capacity, and local presence.
