Hello everyone,
We are Pascal and Valérie, both French citizens and lifelong healthcare workers — a doctor and an ICU nurse. For decades, we’ve dedicated our lives to saving others. Today, we are the ones fighting to survive — not just against war, but against corruption, violence, and injustice in Lebanon.
In November 2023, our home was violently raided by heavily armed police — no warrant, no explanation. Acting on orders from a powerful bank and corrupt officials, they smashed through our home with axes, sledgehammers, even a chainsaw. They beat and arrested us, killed one of our rescue cats, and threw us into the street with no documents, clothes, or shelter. I was nearly killed several times during arrest, then in prison and even in hospital.
Reason why this?
Because we dared to speak out against the banks that stole our entire life savings — the same banks behind one of the largest financial crimes in history, looting billions from everyday people.
Since then, we’ve faced:
Repeated arrests and physical abuse
Homelessness, hunger, and untreated injuries
Being silenced, betrayed, and left to suffer alone, the French Consulate leaves us to fend for ourselves.
Total destruction of our lives.
But we are still standing. And we are taking legal action. Not just for us, but for everyone affected by this system of impunity.
