Help Me Stay Gone: A Fund for Safety, Legal Aid, & Survival

When I launched this fundraiser, I was documenting a crisis and dealing with the aftermath of abuse. Thanks to community care and support, I've been able to escape abuse with more safety in the world and recover.

I feel as though it's been a long journey from hurt to okay, and getting back on my feet has taken a long time. I'm so thankful for the help and continued support in my work.

Now, I’m safe, and a better life feels around the corner. I’m raising my children, still writing, and still healing. The story is no longer about escape.

Thank you for being part of my survival. I'm so thankful I reached out for support. Thank you for helping me stay safe and search for new beginnings. Though each day can be rough, after so much harm, I feel renewed in care.

I am currently fundraising for support to move and start my life elsewhere. My van needs assistance, and I know I'll need moving supplies and a little extra cash for the journey ahead with kids.
