Help Leasy and Paul James with medical bills

Leasy James is my best friend. She is brilliant, kind, passionate, and so very strong. She and her amazing husband Paul have three beautiful young children that they both work hard to support. Leasy has struggled with her health since childhood and was only recently diagnosed with Lupus. She has been in and out of the hospital experiencing debilitating pain for months with very few answers. As a college professor this has resulted in time away from the classroom and a loss in revenue. Paul is able to take FMLA leave in order to care for her when she needs it but, after this many hospitalizations, all the leave he takes is unpaid - something this wonderful family cannot sustain in the wake of increasing medical bills and an unknown future.

Leasy is in the hospital again right now. They have found a mass of some kind wrapped around her spine and are not sure if it is an infection or a tumor. This is, obviously, terrifying and I ask that you please pray for her, Paul, and their sweet babies. Paul is taking unpaid time away from work to be with her now.

This family has been a blessing to so many others, including me, and right now they need a community of love and support.
