I'm Lea, I'm running my first half marathon, the Hackney Half on Sunday 17th May. This is a big deal for someone who used to skive off school the day we would be running the mile! I wanted to put my efforts to a good cause so I'm raising money for KRAN.

Kent Refugee Action Network (KRAN) has worked in Kent for more than 20 years and offers holistic, empowering and immediate support to unaccompanied, young refugees and asylum seekers (aged 16 to 24) when they arrive in the UK.

This vital support is provided through education (Learning for Life), advocacy, mentoring, engagement and activities. KRAN gives the young people a safe, positive space and supports them to settle, actively contribute to their communities and thrive into adulthood.
