Lea's Journey to Healing and Rehabilitation

Hi everyone.

I wanted to share that my twin sister, Lea was involved in a very serious car accident on Thursday, February 27th. While traveling home and after exiting Route 309 at the Flourtown exit, Lea stopped for a red light and proceeded through the green light when she was struck head-on by an SUV. As a result of the collision, Lea sustained two broken ankles, an open fracture to her knee, and multiple abrasions and lacerations to the lower half of her body.

Lea has undergone two surgeries to address the fractures and is now in recovery. She will be transferred from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility where she will remain for an extended period. While she is there she will learn how to walk again. During her recovery, we are reaching out to family, friends, and colleagues for assistance. Specifically, Lea and for her boyfriend, Andrew will need some support to ensure that bills are managed while Lea is unable to work, and Andrew is taking off to be by her side.
