Many of you have asked what I wanted for my birthday for a while but I never had a good answer. The truth is, I've been overwhelmed with the layers of life transitions i’m currently moving through. Planning anything has felt heavy as I try to recover financially after multiple failed attempts to fix my car as well as navigate the hard news of my primary source of income pausing until June due to funding issues.

This year is my Saturn return—a time of growth, accountability, and realignment. So in many ways it feels like spirit is inviting me into leaning in and pivoting; by stepping fully into my calling as a postpartum doula, reiki practitioner and full time artist.

I've been building toward this transition for a while now but need a reliable car to serve my community the way I've been dreaming of. With one, I could easily drive to clients in labor or attend prenatal visits, deliver postpartum supplies, and show up consistently for families during one of the most vulnerable times of their lives. Without one, I can't do this work.

I've realized I can’t do this alone. So this birthday, I’m trying something different: I’m opening my hands and asking for support.

My goal is $16,000. Here's how it breaks down:

· $10,000 – A reliable used car (so I can attend births and build my doula practice without breakdowns or fear)

· $6,000 – Paying rent, bills and cover food costs during the transition.
