Learning To Live With The Love She Left Behind

I never thought I’d have to do this so soon, that we would lose her so soon. My family has experienced so much heartache these past couple of years and the toll it has on us is great. My mom felt weak for a couple of weeks and she was too afraid to go to a clinic or hospital because she was afraid of dying alone.  She has always been terrified of doctors because her experience with them were never good. When I finally convinced her to go, my dad and I helped her walk to the car when she begged my dad not to take her. He helped her and she gave my dad a tight hug before she collapsed. I tried waking her up, I held her in my hands. I was instructed to give her CPR and I felt her heart beat under my palms, until I didn’t. We watched her leave us. And the only comfort we have is that she didn’t die alone. We’ve secured most of the expenses but we are still short, I humbly come to my family and friends to help us get us through this difficult time.
