Learning English In A Healthy Environment

Valencia Newcomer School provides a safe environment for students who are new to the United States to learn English as well as understand how the American school is designed.  With the current situation involving COVID-19, our newcomers are in need of safety precautions to be put in place to ensure continual learning as well as safety for both the students and the staff.   Mask coverings over the mouth will not allow for teachers and students to observe letter and sound formations as well as facial expressions.  Learning a new language requires both of these attributes to provide the best learning experience for our students.  Every student deserves a chance to learn.  Removing this barrier will ensure the safety of all and will continue rigorous learning to take place.  Please consider donating to support face shields for the upcoming school year.
