Hi everyone,

After participating in a humanitarian trip to Botswana’s Dukwi refugee camp last year, I founded Rising Stars, a foundation dedicated to supporting refugee education as a pathway to employability and financial independence.

Over the past few months, we raised over €500 for Innocent Kitangwakalenga, a young man from the DRC studying engineering at BIUST. Through this support, he was able to cover part of his tuition and living costs, enabling him to successfully complete his first year of studies (READ MORE ABOUT IT HERE )

Now, Innocent needs funding again as he prepares for his second year, with costs including test fees, textbooks, and other essential academic resources.

As the first partner of Rising Stars, Innocent represents the beginning of a much larger mission: empowering refugees to achieve well-being and financial independence through education.
