At Leap of Dance Academy, dance is more than a class, it’s a lifeline. Our studio is a place where children and teens discover who they are, build lifelong friendships, and learn the value of hard work and expression. We see shy kids find their voices, struggling students find focus, and young leaders emerge with every rehearsal and every performance. Today, we are incredibly proud to share a special opportunity. Two of our students, Angel (15yo and second from the right in the image) and Amanda (14yo, second from the left), have been awarded a prestigious scholarship to attend the Pollino Dance Festival in Basilicata, Italy thanks to Balletto Lucano. For a couple of weeks in July 2026, they will train, learn, and perform and compete alongside talented young dancers from around the world, an experience that can truly change the course of their lives. While the scholarship covers their participation in the festival, we now need help to make this dream possible. The remaining challenge is covering their travel expenses: flights and visas to Italy. That’s where you come in. With your support, we can get Angel, Amanda and their tutor Mr Daniel to Italy and ensure they don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity because of financial barriers.
