Leanne Maree Clarke Nance Leanne from Paterson

Dean Mackin from the 2SM Super Radio Network here. I have been asked by Sharon Fernley (Nance's sister) and Beverley Clarke (Nance's Mum) to set up this GoFundMe page for them. For many years we referred to Nance as Leanne from Paterson but she later switched back to her long-time nickname of Nance which is the name by which she was known to most people outside of radio. Leanne (Nance) passed away unexpectedly early on Friday morning after suffering multiple strokes. Leanne was a wonderful lady who brought a smile to the face and joy to the hearts of all those who had the privilege of hearing her call into the radio network on a regular basis. She was a true character and was loved by many. She'd often sing and play along with her bongoes on-air and would tell us about her beloved rescue Greyhound Nicki. She will be sadly missed.

Her funeral will most likely be during the week starting the 17th of April and we will advise once a date has been set. The family is happy for all of you who loved Leanne to attend and would consider it a lovely tribute to her. We have set up this page to ask for help with the funeral costs as Leanne passed away without much money and her passing was quite unexpected. PS: I have listed the funeral service date as 17/4/23 as it was a requirement to proceed but that date is not set. I will update the funeral details on here as soon as it is set.
