Our mother, daughter, sister, friend Leanne Lundquist suddenly and unexpectedly died on April 23 at 12:02 am. Leanne was a fighter, as all who know her would be quick to tell you.
We often hear the word “fierce” to describe her, which may surprise many at first glance because of her tiny frame. She battled many illnesses and had to undergo over thirty surgeries over her lifetime, including a kidney transplant which, thanks to her sister Shannon for giving her the gift of one of hers allowing us to love her for many years.
Her sons, Josh and Christian and their families are shocked by the totally unexpected death of the mother they treasured. Her passing is a profound loss to her spiritual community, her friends and extended family. While they come to terms with her death they are faced with all the expenses of death and in this case the death is almost certainly a malpractice by the state of Idaho and the hospital.
The state has agreed to pay for the autopsy so that is a huge relief. The family are arranging to meet with an attorney about the malpractice case which is a huge cost. Leanne would want the kids to fight for what is right so they are determined to find out the truth.
