In July, Leanne began her courageous battle against cancer. Following extensive surgeries and treatments, her family held onto hope for remission; however, they were heartbroken to learn the cancer had returned. Despite further treatments, medical professionals determined that there was no improvement. Leanne made the difficult decision to discontinue treatment and transition to comfort care, receiving a prognosis of two weeks. Sadly, she took her last breath on December 19th, just four days later, at the young age of 42. Leanne is survived by her husband, Rick, their two young children, Cheyenne (15 years old) and Dakota (10 years old) and countless other family members and friends. Leanne was the cornerstone of her family, providing essential stability and unity. The profound impact of losing a mother, wife, sister, cousin, and friend is immeasurable. This loss, occurring so near Christmas, will cast a shadow of mourning and sorrow over the holiday season for her loved ones. Her children's futures will be significantly affected by this loss. Leanne's husband Rick is on disability, resulting in severely limited financial resources, leaving him to grieve his wife, support his children, and navigate this devastating period. We are humbly requesting donations to assist this family with medical bills, funeral expenses, and essential living costs and allow them to mourn and focus on healing. Any contribution would be deeply appreciated.
