My name is Leanna. I've gone through a great deal of loss and became lost. I moved to Amador County five years ago. One year after moving here, I lost the love of my life. At that moment, my life was changed forever. I was here in a place where I knew no one, scared, alone, and desperate. My income became a big zero. I was in a bad place at that point because I was living in our newly bought home, but had no way to afford to continue to reside here. I had to figure out a way to stay and carry on his legacy. He purchased our home with what he inherited from his mother, who passed away 9 months before I met him. I took care of Ronnie until the day he joined our Glorious Lord. Fortunately, a very dear friend of mine stepped up and offered to take care of me and my finances so that I would not become homeless. I've been blessed in so many ways. After adding him to the title of my home, he took on the responsibility of taking care of my finances from that day forward. James Thomas, my little big brother, has taken care of me since then. I was introduced to The Call Church by chance and have been a member for almost 3 years now. I was baptized 1 year in. That church family has also been a big part of my growth with the LORD! I am a dedicated volunteer wherever I can be. Taking care of babies in the nursery, taking care of toddlers, or serving coffee—wherever I can help, I'm there! I'm also involved in small group studies. We have the best group of ladies and potlucks! Lol
Thank you for being interested in my journey. My self-esteem, my confidence, and my well-being will be greatly impacted if you can help! Thank you in advance for your help and generosity!
