In loving Memory of Tommie: Gift to Diana Higgins
Donation protected
**Updated 7.11.24 -by Nina
Hi Everyone,
This is Christina (Nina), one of Diana's best friends. I set up this GoFundMe last year. (https://gofund.me/1354fb46) for her and her husband, Tommie/Pooh Bear/whatever nickname people had for them and there were a lot.
A lot of us don't really know what to do but we know we want to help int best way we can.
We were having some technical difficulties at first
So her dream team came up with the newer GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/c553e6ce).
Please know Either go fund me works!!
And both go straight to Diana as she is working through the seemingly endless to do list that comes with losing our loved ones.

I know her phone has been Grand Central Station so I am sure most know that Tommie passed away on June 26th. To say that the last year and a half for these two were absolutely brutal would be an understatement but Di handled it as all of us would expect. With strength, grace and the fight of well, only she really has. For those of you that donated last year:
ALL of the medical equipment and supplies that were purchased have been donated to charity in Las Vegas called CARES and will help many people. Diana always says it takes a village and through your help last year, the village is living on!
She felt uncomfortable sending an email out saying, "I don't want to feel like a person on a corner with a tin can".
She insists you know that it's ok if you can't (times are hard for everyone), if you could share this or pass it on that would be great.
Most importantly please send her all of the good vibes and prayers for the strength to walk this path.
She has been pretty good at keeping up with calls, texts and emails but if it takes her some time, it's just because there is a lot going on.
As both she (and Pooh Bear) would say, if you can do anything at all is just make someone smile and make sure everyone that you love knows it. That was always the most important to both of them.
If anyone has any questions or wants me to pass anything on to Di, PLEASE, feel free to email me directly at cgraham3309. At. Gmail. ( This looks weird because "rules" ) ;)
Thank you all for caring about Di as much as we do,
Christina (Nina)
A journey of a thousand steps begins with just one,
and our Tommie is doing JUST that. One step, I e day at a time.
He has made incredible and undeniable progress in the short albeit feels long time in the amazing rehab facilities. Met amazing encouraging people each part of the way.
Diana holding down the homestead, juggling all that entails, becoming an insurance specialist.. you know like she does anything she gets tasked with... She researches she learns she doesn't stop until it's figured out... All while having her own health things pop up at the most convenient times.
These two kids are doin the damn thing. Thank you for all the support if you find the ability to share or donate please do. They are not stopping!
We love you guys! Keep going! You got this!
Inspiring us all each day.
