Extraordinary circumstances such as this pandemic have serious financial consequences for us and for our artists; we deeply value our place in both the local and artistic communities and we wish to play our part in supporting the artistic sector during this difficult period. As you may be aware, freelance musicians are in a particularly precarious situation as their livelihood relies on these sorts of events, which are being cancelled across the world, and the nature of such contracts means that in almost all cases no fees are due to them.

Months of income is being lost and we at Leamington Music would like to look after our artists as best we can, while balancing this with our long-term sustainability in these difficult times, so you can continue to enjoy high quality live music in the future.

While Leamington Music pledges to use some of its reserves to offer some compensation to our artists in these unprecedented circumstances, we also need your help. Every pound that is donated will make a difference to the way we can support these musicians now and with our plans for the future, and we are extraordinarily grateful to everyone for their understanding and support in such challenging times. 

Leamington Music is a not-for-profit charity which relies on your much-valued support to keep bringing international music-making to the area. When this crisis subsides, we are all going to want music more than ever to lift the spirits, and so we at Leamington Music would be very grateful for your help to keep the charity, along with our artists, buoyant in the meantime.
