Leah Kadians Recovery Mission Fund

In the beginning weeks of March 2016 my best friend since childhood, Leah Kadian was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I still cannot wrap my head around the question of how a woman so wonderful and caring, so unique and kind can be faced with such a terrible, life changing thing; it is just unfair. As soon as I found out about the disease I knew that the medical bills and her basic necessity bills would become to much for one person to take on, so in search of helping my friend out I began a small fundraiser, raising her a little bit of money but not even close enough for Leah to live her life as if it were normal. With chemo therapy treatment having started in the end of April, she is unfortunately unable to work a lot due to the sickness that follows such treatments. The ability to pay everyday bills and expenses, on top of caring for her son and her daughter who is currently going through college  has been an extreme challenge for her to carry out. As the cancer is tough on Leah, it is also hard for her family and friends to see her battle through it financially and emotionally. What I am hoping to do with the help of this organization is to provide my dearest friend with her necessary financial support and to keep her remaining positive by showing her that people do care and are here for her to help fight through it.
