Hi, my name is Leah Wilsher. I'm 25 years old and have PURA Syndrome.

On 17 May 2026, with the help of my family and friends, I will aim to stand on the summit of Pen y Fan, in Bannau Brycheiniog. The tallest peak in the Southern UK.

I'm hoping to raise vital funds for 4 amazing groups that I belong to and that bring me so much joy and happiness, raise awareness of these amazing groups and show that having a rare disease or disability need not be a barrier or place limits on what can be achieved, given appropriate assistance.

These groups are Ice Cool Kids (adaptive skiing), Surfability (adaptive surfing), Boardability (adaptive skateboarding) and Neath YMCA Judo Kwai.

These groups are little communities in themselves and do so much for me and other young people with disabilities. They all struggle with funding as they strive to continue to provide the fantastic services and opportunities that they do.

I'm hoping my little challenge can help to provide them with some much needed funds. Any monies raised will be split equally among the 4 groups.
