Leah's Journey: Support Her Cancer Fight

My sister, Leah Zulli, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She received her first chemotherapy treatment this week on Thursday, 3.6.25. She is a devoted wife, excellent mother to four children, sister, and friend. She has a hard fight ahead of her. My sister is strong, proud, and private. She would not be apt to ask for help. I understand that because it is very much the way I am as well.

I, however, have no issue asking for help on her behalf. She has had to leave her job and go on disability to undergo her treatment. She will be focusing on nourishing her body with the foods recommended to help her body fight this alien evil within. It is no secret food pricing is out of control. This will put an additional expense on the family's plate.

This is an unfathomably dark process that is challenging to face even when you have a good support system. I want my sister focused on her FIGHT to ensure she has many more years with her beloved husband and children. I don't want her worrying about the thousands and thousands of dollars not covered by health insurance that will rack up at lightning speed.

My fundraising for animal welfare has proven to me time and time again what good-hearted people we still have in this world. I hope you read this plea and share some monetary love for a woman you may have never met. Let's keep proving how much light we can shine into the darkness together.
