Leah’s Fundraiser for Dental Outreach Nepal

Hello, my name is Leah. I am a fourth year dentistry student at UCC. This summer I will be participating in Dental Outreach. It is a voluntary program that takes us to a rural area of Nepal, where temporary clinics are set up. People in need are offered 100% free dental care.

Oral hygiene instruction, extractions, filling, pharmacy prescriptions, preventative therapies and cleanings would be made available to those who have never had the privilege of dental care, nor the education and knowledge to care for their own oral hygiene.

The aim of this programme is to give these patients the knowledge and tools to care for themselves, spread awareness of the importance of dental health, and help patients maintain healthy teeth for as long as possible.

I would greatly appreciate any donation, small or large that could be put towards this great cause. All donations will go towards setting up of temporary clinics and the materials and instruments used.
