Hi, my name is Lisa and I am fundraising to help pay for the medical bills of my best friend Leah after losing my job. Leah was unexpectedly diagnosed with late stage cancer (Lymphoma) on Thursday January 26th, and passed on Friday January 27th in the comfort of her home.

It never crossed my mind that I would be asking for help in this moment, but life has hit really hard... I am asking for help after being informed of being laid off on Monday January 30th.

The money will be used to pay for her vet visits, xrays, ultrasound, medication, lab work, and euthanasia.

Leah just turned 8, I thought I had a few more years with her. Then a few months, a week at best after the news. These last few days have been the toughest i have ever experienced and where I would find comfort and support in my Leah, I no longer can. I am holding on to her memories tight and beyond grateful for the support system I have in Matthew, friends, and family at this time.
