Help a disabled chronically ill black woman
Update 11.23.22.
My name is Leah and I'm 28. I am a palliative care patient that has a lot of health issues. The one that is killing me is sepsis. I have an incurable bloodstream infection because of antibiotic resistance.
My chronic illnesses:
SCD
Lupus
Crohns
Anti phospholipid syndrome
Pulmonary hypertension
Pulmonary Edema & enlarged heart
I am oxygen dependent.
I use mobility aids daily like my oxygen concentrator that I was able to purchase earlier this year thanks to your support. I also have 2 mobility scooters and a power wheelchair that I use due to pain and breathing.
I recently had what will be my last earthly birthday on 11.6 & it was amazing I got everything I wanted & more + went camping.
Please continue to support me as palliative care at this point is all about comfort. It's pain and symptom management. I need funds to continue being able to purchase my medibles, not fully cover scripts, heat and cold therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, topicals for pain relief. I am in pain 24.7. I deserve a dignified death. I deserve to be able to finish my bucket list before I depart this planet. I hope my next life treats me better.
I have been working very hard to run my small business to earn money to pay my medical expenses and I'm trying to pay off my new power wheelchair that costs me about $3k plus the accessories, new ramps and extra battery I need....maybe close to $4k.
I also will use any funds from donations here for wound care supplies, HOMECARE medical supplies for my central line, IV medications, rides to treatments via Uber & a lot of general medical supplies for my basic care.
You can purchase from my shop to support me: there's keychains, pins, sweatshirts, stickers, stationary and so much more.
