Leah's Fight Against Melanoma

It has been a difficult road for Leah since she was diagnosed with stage IV Melanoma Cancer this past June. She has been very strong and prides herself in her independence. For those of you who know Leah, she has always been a private and very independent person. She always puts others before herself and enjoys catching up with her family.
Leah has endured a lot on her journey thus far and continues to fight daily for her quality of life. Late this summer she complained about terrible migraine headaches on and off for weeks. She was finally rushed to the hospital by ambulance where she received a combination of MRI's and CAT scans which revealed several tumors throughout her body including 3 large tumors in her head. These 3 causing the migraines.
Since being diagnosed Leah (and also our parents/her caregivers) have been traveling weekly to the University of Iowa Hospital Cancer Center nearly 5 hours from home.
Leah has been rushed by ambulance several times due to pain from the various tumors throughout her body. Most recently she was taken by ambulance to Iowa City for the next phase of her journey with several surgeries to remove problematic tumors.
Prayers and support are the biggest help at this point, but due to Leah's inability to work and our parents (Kirk and Connie Johnson) taking time off to be with Leah we are asking for any donations that fit your families situation. This will help with Leah's hospital bills, ambulance rides, travel/lodging expenses, etc for Leah and our parents back and forth to Iowa City.
The smallest of donations of any amount are very much appreciated and will mean so much to Leah and our family.
