Update:

With a very heavy heart- Leah did not make it. After having gallbladder surgery she went into into septic shock which lead to her organs failing. At this time I would ask if you could please send your thoughts and prayers to her family. As I said previously, she was a single mom so all the help the family can get will be helpful. Leah was a healthy young individual so this is all very unexpected. There are still going to be many many medical bills and the cost to cover the funeral arrangements.  Thank you for your time and your donations. It is very much appreciated.

This gofundme is for a very dear friend of mine who is currently in the ICU. She is the most selfless person I have ever met. She has worked at a nonprofit for 6 years now which goes to show just how selfless she is. I want to be respectful to her and her family and not go into all of the details. As you all know living is tough and when you’re a single mom, unable to work it makes it that much tougher. Thankfully Leah has her family that is able to be by her side at this time and take care of her precious little boy.

Leah hates attention on herself but is more than deserving of it and your help. If you have anything that you can donate to go towards her medical bills, her son, and her family it would mean so much.

She’s a fighter, the toughest one I know but we all need a little help from our community from time to time.
