My mother, Morah Leah Reisner, has been diagnosed with advanced metastatic melanoma and is in need of general medical care. Mrs. Reisner has been a staple in the Jewish community of Pittsburgh for over 25 years and has greatly impacted the lives of hundreds of preschool students in the Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh as well as Cheder Lubavitch in Morristown, NJ.
Having additional funds available directly impacts her level of comfort and helps to keep her closer to her family, friends, and community. Anything you can give would be much appreciated.
Donations will be withdrawn from GoFundMe and used to write checks for direct payment to the facilities that provided her with medical, rehabilitation, and palliative/hospice care. These facilities include:
UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, UPMC Shadyside Hospital, UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, UPMC Heritage Place (Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation), and Charles Morris Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
In addition, payments will be made to cover any outstanding UPMC medical bills associated with her recent cancer treatments beginning in August 2019.
Lastly, remaining funds will be used to pay outstanding funeral and burial costs.
