Our beloved Leah is having hip replacement surgery. She will have limited mobility for a few weeks and be unable to work for awhile and she has been a professional dancer and movement teacher for the last 22+ years. Let's come together to support her as she gets a pink (!) titanium hip and let's help her in her recovery process.
Leah is so amazing. She lights up every room that she walks into and she's worked tirelessly to build and bring our community together. Here are some examples of how she's shown up time and time again for us:
- Improves education for our community, bringing in and connecting us to amazing movement teachers from across the globe
- Creates amazing movements classes where everyone feels included, and that they have a safe space to move their bodies
- Leading by example in how she approaches not just practice, but also care
- Bringing art into everyone's lives
- Suckfest, 'nuff said
