I started this fundraiser at 28, I'm 30 now.

I realised over 15 years ago that I needed top surgery for my physical and mental health.

Unfortunately surgery is very expensive, currently not covered by Medicare, and disability has made it very difficult to save money.

After breaking my sternum while binding, and developing chronic pain and other health complications, I have let my friends convince me to put up a GoFundMe for surgery costs and I will be running fundraising events!

I've had a consultation with surgeon Andrew Ives and have an estimate on surgery costs of $13-14k (depending on anesthetist fees and health insurance cover, as these can vary).

I am hoping to get surgery this September-October.

Please only donate what you can afford.

If you cannot donate but want to help - you can share the link or help with events, every little bit helps and I'm so grateful to anyone that contributes.

Any donations will go towards surgery costs.

- If you wish to donate any extra money over the estimate (or if surgery ends up being less than the estimate) it will go towards medical items and appointments, time off to help me recover, and then to other friends top surgery funds.
