Leadership Team Building Trip

Hi Everyone, My name is Sounyi and my daughter's name is Emma. We are so excited to share with you about an unforgettable adventure that the both of us will get to experience together. This year Emma got accepted into The Leadership Group at her middle school. Students in Leadership are required to maintain good grades, show leadership skills, and enjoy helping their community. Students who participate go through an application process and then get interviewed by the teacher/s. Although the wait time was a little stressful, Emma finally got the news that she got accepted!

We are very proud of her and we have seen her blossom in a way that any adult/parent would be proud of for their student/child. Emma continues to stay committed to help at school events before and after school as well as do community service by cleaning up her school campus.

The additional bonus in being a part of Leadership is their annual team building event that takes place in Disneyland. This trip allows a group of about 30 students to connect and team build as a group. The setting allows these students to build relationships as well as explore and enjoy the theme park. I, along with a few other parents/teachers will be chaperoning on this trip. Unfortunately, the trip's expense will not be covered by the school. Each child and chaperone will need to pay for their own expenses which includes, food, travel, hotel, and park entrance fee.

Although the school doesn't want to leave any students out, it is still a costly trip. This is why we are reaching out to you, our friends, family and our community to help us reach our goal of $2,000. We really need all the financial support we can get. Our trip date is scheduled for November 1, 2, and 3. Every dollar counts and we are hoping that you can send us to Disneyland. We apologize for this late notice, and we appreciate your support.
