Leadership Longview/LCDC Fundraiser

For the annual non-profit project, the 2018 Leadership Longview class has teamed up with the Longview Child Development Center (LCDC). The Longview Child Development Center, an independent non-profit agency, offers quality childcare to economically disadvantaged families and staff, as well as those attending school/trade programs whose children range anywhere from 6 weeks to 5 years old. The average number of kids served varies from 160 to 198 a year. The Longview Child Development Center has a dire need for improvements to the building’s exterior, security and storage, and curb appeal for the organization’s road frontage signage. 

The scope of the project includes a new sign for the LCDC to incorporate an inviting image, refurbishing the front entryway of the building, and constructing a new privacy fence on the south side of the building. The Leadership Longview Class is seeking financial support from the incredible people in the City of Longview and surrounding areas.  Any and all funds raised will be utilized for direct project costs.

LCDC is an organization that feels strongly about the children they serve on a daily basis who deserve to be surrounded by a well-kept property and building.
