Hi all!
-
We are raising funds to cover our costs for testing and report on six of the popular diaper ointments pictured. Each of these was featured in a January 2025 Article by Consumer Reports - and noted as a safer choice, but the toxicant profiles of these diaper ointments were not shared in that article.
-
The 7th diaper ointment pictured (the Weleda) is being tested and reported on without raising the funds to do so — as a "bonus" to thank everyone for contributing to this campaign.
-
Each $525 raised on this campaign will cover the costs of testing and reporting for one of the popular diaper ointments pictured - and we will publish those reports each time we reach another $525 (so when $525 is raised, and then when a total of $1050 is raised, and then wen $1575 is raised, etc.)
-
Each product will be lab tested for Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, and Arsenic.
-
The Lead Safe Mama online community has asked us to test these products to compare them to the toxicant levels in the diaper ointment creams we have tested and reported on so far. You can find those on this link

Thanks for contributing. We hope to publish lab reports for each of these products in October and November of 2025 - and simply need your support to help cover our costs to do so!
