Lea Cazares Medical Bills and Family Support
Donation protected
The Cazares family had amazing things happen over the past several years. Lea and Israel got married, they each got new guide dogs (Floyd and Yacht), and even became loving and doting parents to now 1-year-old ChloeAnn. This family was planning to make substantial changes in 2023. They were about to move to a new city - from Milwaukee, WI to Louisville, KY. Israel was ready to start a new career at the American Printing House for the Blind. Life was wonderful.
All of that has changed dramatically. Their happy world is in jeopardy. On Thursday January 5, 2023, Lea had two brain aneurisms burst and is now in the ICU fighting for her life.
They need our help to ease the burden of upcoming medical bills and personal expenses. This situation finds them between homes and jobs.
Although Lea’s brain suffered extensive damage, there are glimmers of hope shining through. When Lea was awake after having been taken off sedation medication, she was squeezing Israel's hand when he spoke to her. She reacted to her nieces' voices and was able to move her hands and feet. We know Lea is a tough fighter, and we know that she is fighting with all her might to stay alive. Strength, hope, love, faith. These are all the words the family is focused on. Together we can ensure that Israel’s focus only continues to be on supporting Lea and caring for ChloeAnn.
