Update: My heart is filled with love this morning, 

I'm hopeful that we're able to provide him with proper medical attention plus more. Presumably, he'll need to rest his foot, it'd be good to get him off the streets, Please be sure to help share and / or contribute so that valient efforts don't fall short.

Living in Vietnam as an American born Vietnamese, who barely understands the motherland culture or language, is not necessarily all that easy. 3 years ago, when I first moved into an apartment on NTMK street, an old man approached me and said he was hungry, he wanted to do something for me for some food or money. Scared of the smelly old man, I backed away and said sorry dude... While waiting for my taxi, he asked me "where are you going? Can I please take you somewhere? Go buy some food for you" I was hungry, he was hungry, a relationship ensued. For three years, this man made my life that much easier. He's got NO family, NO home. He sleeps on the sidewalk EVERY night. When it rains, I'd invite him in, and he always rejected me because he just doesn't agree with living outside his means. In March of 2014, while sleeping outdoors, a drunk driver crashed and ran over his foot. Bone deep, checked himself into a hospital, and learned that he had diabetes, a fast recovery is out of the question. Since then, we've helped him change bandages daily, he drives over an hour away every morning, just to change his bandages at a more affordable hospital. I never realized how bad his foot was, it's been nearly a year, no man should ever have to go through this alone. So my dear friends and family, I ask for your help. If enough people are interested, maybe I could start a crowd funding account, or we can do this together locally. My goal is to help this 80+ year old man feeling happy again, maybe even get him off the streets. What say you kind people of earth?
