Hello, my name is Loïc Nervi, and I'm a baker in the small village of Lorgues in the Var department of France. Two years ago, I created a completely self-sufficient bakery inside an old moving van! I built this bakery with my own funds because I felt the need to help people affected by disasters. I also bought a large enclosed trailer to store ingredients and, most importantly, the two large generators that power the bakery. In this bakery, I bake 1,000 loaves of bread a day and then distribute them free of charge to people in need. For me, making artisanal French bread in my mobile bakery to give to those in need makes me very proud and happy. Since the beginning of my commitment, I have completed nine missions, including one in Lebanon. In February 2026, a mission planned for Bethlehem was stopped at Tel Aviv airport due to security concerns. The next mission is scheduled from April 11th to May 5th, again in Ukraine, in three cities in the east of the country (Zaporizhia, Nikopol, Kherson). You can find me on Facebook by searching "the baker without borders" and you can see the extent of my work! Each trip is very expensive in terms of ingredients and especially travel costs! As long as I have support, I will continue to go wherever I can! A mission planned for May 2024 in Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenia, was canceled due to lack of funding… Thank you in advance to everyone who supports my commitment! Thank you again.
