Hi my name is LaDariun "LD" Jones and I am seeking your financial support to better my education. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my most recent achievements. I have recently been accepted into a private school called Aquinas Institute and will begin my Freshman courses this Fall. My faith in Christ has led me in the direction of making basketball a priority for this gift is from God alone. My parents instilled in me the importance of honing in on this gift and keeping my focus on faith and the ultimate goal. 

This past year has been difficult emotionally as well as a hardship financially; especially after losing our father in the midst of the pandemic. Many knew him as Steve (Sixx) and he was a mentor to many; he was not only the best father to us but a voluntary youth mentor on and off the court. While my four siblings and I have been homeschooled by my mother and eldest siblings, I have achieved 'straight A' status! It has been a personal goal and my father's desire for me to attend Aquinas. Throughout my childhood, my father incorporated life skills in sports and academics. Dad believed that not only does Aquinas have higher educational opportunities, but positive role models to enhance my faith and God given talents.

As a black youth, I am eager learn and being enrolled at Aquinas will help me envision my long term goal of attending college on scholarship and achieve what God has set on my path. (Jeremiah 29:11) My Parents and I worked hard for me to get to where I am and I'm excited for what's to come. I sincerely thank you in advance for whatever you can give.
