I am reaching out to you today on behalf of a family which was a part of our community for many years and dear friends of our family.

Monica, Sebastian, and their two young boys, Kai Aviel (11) and Leo Eitan (5), had to move to an area without many Jewish resources for financial reasons. For two years now, Monica has made the 3-hour daily commute necessary to keep her boys in a Jewish school. As a preschool assistant at the Chabad school her children attend, it has taken the generosity of scholarship funds and help from community members like yourselves to continue these children's Jewish education. Still, her debt has accumulated and now it must be resolved before the children can continue their education in the school they are flourishing in, surrounded by Jewish values and like-minded families.

Given the limited exposure to yiddishkeit where they live, Jewish Day School is more than education for these boys, it is community, Jewish friendships, Jewish holidays and a celebrationof Jewish identity.

Any amount you can give will help keep these children from being uprooted again and is an investment in the future of our Jewish youth.
