I am a 19 year old pre-med student at New England College. I was selected to be in the NEC honor program, awarded the Presidential Scholarship, and made the Dean's list my first Semester.
On top of a full course load and maintaining my scholarship GPA, I also work outside of school to pay for books, supplies, and the money that is left over goes to my tuition. My mother is on Social Security and has assisted financially as much as she can.
Unfortunately, even after accounting for my scholarship, student loans, and other financial aid, I will be $3,200 short of the $50,000 in tuition I need to stay in school. I believe I have worked hard to get to where I am, and were it not for the astronomical price of tuition my hard work alone would be more than enough, I just need a little help from you to reach my goal of becoming a doctor.
