LBORO PL - World Powerlifting Cup Fundraiser

At the British University Championships 2019, the Loughborough Men's Powerlifting team has managed to place second in the country and has been given a chance to represent Great Britain at the World University Cup in Estonia in July.
We will be looking to send a team to the championships this year! As powerlifting is a relatively self-funded sport and we are all students, we would be so grateful if we are able to receive any funding from you all to ensure that the whole team will be able to travel. Of course, we will be doing our own share in funding ourselves too!
Although the Loughborough Powerlifting Men's team came third last year and qualified for the University World Cup last year, we were unfortunately unable to get the necessary funding to enable us to attend and we want to make sure that doesn't happen again this year. This truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a lot of us and we have all put in our maximum efforts to get this far!
Powerlifting has helped me grow as an individual and to be nominated as 'Head of Powerlifting' for the next academic year has got me stoked to make sure that everyone who joins this sport will feel the same way that I do.
