Hello, I'm Max, On Friday April 5th, 2024 we found out that this beautiful friend, family, brother, son and uncle lost his life. I'm reaching out to you all in memory of our dear friend and brother, Lazaro Landa, affectionately known as Frosty Freak, Laz, or Nite.

Our paths first crossed about eight years ago in the virtual realm of Destiny 2. I still remember the day we stumbled upon Lazaro, standing alone, eagerly awaiting the next Blind Well event. We decided to extend an invitation, despite his usual reluctance to join others. To our delight, he accepted, and from that moment on, our bond only grew stronger.

Over the years, Lazaro became an integral part of our lives. He wasn't just a gaming buddy; he was family. He even took the time to connect with my children when they were just 11 and 13, leaving a lasting impression on all of us. Soon enough, we welcomed him into our clan, and Lazaro became a cherished member of the Frosty Clan.

Despite battling type 1 diabetes from a young age, Lazaro never sought sympathy or attention for himself. Instead, he selflessly offered guidance and support to anyone in need.

His passion for sports, especially anything related to his beloved Chicago teams, was unmatched. His knowledge and enthusiasm were infectious, bringing joy to everyone around him. Lazaro had a way of lighting up the room with his contagious laughter. Once you heard it, you couldn't help but join in, regardless of the circumstances. His presence brought warmth and camaraderie to our community, and his memory will forever live on in our hearts.

As we mourn the loss of our dear friend, we also celebrate the profound impact he had on our lives. Lazaro will always be a cherished member of our Frosty Family, and his spirit will continue to inspire us every day.
