It’s time to help Frank Lazaris fight and beat this cancer!!! If you don’t know who Frank is, you probably have heard his laugh from a mile away or seen him boating around Lake St. Clair at some point! Frank is Samantha and Lea’s dad, husband to Vickie, Papou to Lilly (and Nala!) and as he would like to say, Official President of Maintenance at Ohana Fitness and Wellness . Frank has recently been diagnosed with Stage IV Anal Cancer with involvement to the liver. Although this news came as a shock to everyone, Frank is ready to fight and is currently undergoing chemo and treatment.
With this treatment, it has led to significant time off of work for both him and his wife along with endless unexpected medical bills. We are raising funds to help pay these medical expenses, keep up with current bills and ease the burden that these costs bring on.
We want Frank and his family to focus on fighting this cancer, not be overwhelmed by the financial strain this causes. We stand with Frank and his family and we hope that through this fundraiser and praying, we can help him win this battle.
We are gathering teams to run in the Detroit Free Press Relay Race on October 20, 2019 to honor Frank, his journey, and raise awareness for cancer. We are now accepting anyone who wants to join us on our teams and if you are unable to run or walk for the cause please use this go fund me as a way to help support the cause! The Lazaris family has positively impacted SO many people in this community through Franks daughter’s fitness studio, Ohana Fitness and Wellness. Frank himself has helped Samantha and Erin build Ohana from the ground up and has always been there for them when they needed it.
