Hi everyone, my name is Ilora and I am arranging this go fund me on behalf of some dear friends.
On 9th July unfortunately my friends Katie & Liam suffered a traumatic and horrific loss of their baby boy. Katie carried and protected her son from this world for 9 months and went into hospital late in the evening of 8th July suspecting labour. When she got there unfortunately what was discovered was the tragic loss of their boy.
Placenta eruption occurs in about one in every 100 pregnancies. Multiple doctors have advised that this is a complete freak accident and unfortunately nothing could’ve been done to prevent the loss, however this does not soften the hurt and pain this has caused of losing beautiful Layton. The NHS have worked tirelessly supporting this family during this difficult time and have made it possible for Katie to be able to return home to her daughter, to be able to tell her all about her baby brother, after almost losing her own life, twice.
My only goal is to make this as easy as possible for them during an already difficult time, helping with any personal costs of the funeral and anything remaining to be donated towards whatever the family wish, whether this be a cold cot for future sleeping babies or something else of their choice. This is something that no one should have to go through and at a time like this, money should be no object and no worry.
If you know the family personally and would like to make a contribution and don’t want to do it through here then please contact me directly and we can arrange. From the bottom of my heart and on behalf of the family, any contributions big or small are wholeheartedly appreciated.
Lastly, Layton Jay Thierry Riley-Stewart - you were too precious for this cruel world, you have touched the hearts of many and will stay there forever more. Life will never just go on & we will do everything we can to make sure you are always remembered beautiful boy, whilst doing all we can to support your mom & dad. Thankyou for reading x
