In Loving Memory of Layna Leavy
Layna Leavy was four years old, a little girl with an infectious smile and a warmth that filled every room she walked into.
On 3 June 2026, she was tragically taken from her family in a car accident in Canning Vale, Perth. No words can describe the depth of this loss. Her family are living through every parent's worst nightmare, and every donation, no matter the size goes directly to them, to ease the financial burden and give them the space they need to grieve, to heal, and to honour their beautiful girl.
In June 2024, Layna's parents; Saoirse, Graeme and her brother Glen made the decision to leave Ireland and build a new life in Perth. In less than two years, Layna had already woven herself into the hearts of so many, here in Australia, and across the community they had left behind in Ireland.
The flowers, teddy bears, and dolls placed at the crash site by friends and strangers demonstrate the mark this little girl made on the world in just four short years.
As Saoirse, Graeme, and Glen navigate this heartbreaking time, they face not only overwhelming grief but also the very real pressures of funeral expenses, memorial costs, and time away from work. We are raising funds to ease these immediate burdens, so this family can focus on honouring Layna's memory and holding each other close.
The outpouring of love from the local Perth community and from Ireland is a testament of the impact this little girl had on so many lives and a reminder that Layna was, and always will be, deeply loved.
If you are able to give, please give. If you are able to share this link, please share. Either way, you are helping this family feel that Layna is not forgotten and that they are not alone.
Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and your support during the most unimaginable of times.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Our beautiful Layna. ️
