Help Layla Go to Internationals
Layla Aleese Johnson began competing in pageants just a short time ago. It started as just something fun to do that would help her fully grow into her beautiful personality. Who would have known that in just 6 months Layla would go on to win multiple crowns, trophies, ribbons, and THE STATE TITLE!
One Sunday May 17th, 2015 Layla became the new 2015 Cinderella Tot. She officially holds the State title and will particpate in various community service events and appearances throught the tri state area during the year.
Unknown to me at the time, as a State Title Holder she MUST compete in the International Cinderella Pageant. Just like Ms. America or any other large pageant system Layla must represent her state of New Jersey at Internationals. There's just one problem.... the price to compete along with lodging and other pageant expenses total a whopping 2,205 ( hotel stay, international fee, event fees) excluding airfare! With airfare the total expense is 3,015 dollars.
As much as I try to provide Layla with all of her needs and more, the expense is just to grand having just competed in States less than a month ago.
Sadly, according to the Cinderella Pageant handbook if Layla does not attend internationals she will forfeit her State Title and cannot compete in any Cinderella Pageant competition ever again at the local,state, or international level!
How cruel would it be to strip a 3 year old of a title they worked so hard to earn and win fair and square! And what about the hundereds of dollars if not more that parents have spent on the state competition and everything it entails?
I don't want to force Layla to forfeit her title or give up her crown, trophies, and prizes. Please help me making a donation and/or sharing with friends, family, and community figures.
