This is our sweet 7 year old Layla. She is family-oriented, creative, an avid reader, silly, strong-willed, witty and unbelievably brave.

Over the course of 5+ wks, Layla had been experiencing leg pain that progressively got worse. During that time, we were trying to find answers and get her the help she needed.  After her bloodwork and visit to the emergency department on Tuesday, Sept. 1st, we discovered Layla has Leukemia. Our world was turned upside down and we had to make decisions quickly as we digested a vast amount of information. A few days later, it was confirmed she has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. There have been rough moments and times of progress. All the while, Layla is enduring everything in order to fight this. 

We’ve already been blessed by many family, friends & community members generously supporting us through donations and meals during this time—thank you all so much. We’ve started this fundraiser to make sure we can continue to push forward keeping Layla on track to regaining her health.
