Layla Schroeder Medical Bills

On Friday May 27, 2022 my niece Layla Schroeder, just 22 months old, suffered a very traumatic incident at their new home which her family had recently moved into. A family member was watching Layla while her parents were at work and she fell from a 2nd story window, landing on the concrete driveway. Immediately following the incident she was taken to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City and admitted into the ICU where she is still being treated for her injuries, which include a skull fracture, brain bleeds and bruises, and severe brain swelling. Layla still has a long road of recovery ahead, and only time will tell if she will have any long term effects from her traumatic brain injury. No parents should have to go through this. My sister and brother-in-law have suffered so much already...
