Loving Memory of Layla Evan’s

It is with deep sadness and grief that I write this. My beautiful, sweet niece has been called home far too soon by our Heavenly Father. On October 2, 2025, we lost a precious soul here on earth, but heaven gained a beautiful angel.

We may never understand why, and it feels far too soon and so unfair. We lost an amazing daughter, granddaughter, niece, and friend—but we find great comfort in knowing that she is safe in the loving arms of her grandpa. Layla brought so much light, laughter, and love into every life she touched. Her smile could brighten any room, and her kindness left a mark on everyone who knew her. Though she’s no longer here with us, her spirit will live on forever in our hearts and in the memories we hold so close. God blessed us with 18 wonderful years alongside one of His most precious angels. Though it feels too short, Layla’s love and light here on earth were immeasurable.

Miranda is now facing every mother’s greatest heartbreak—the unimaginable loss of her child.
